Satie wrote these pieces without bar lines. I have added dashed ones to aid performance. The melody moves around the wind instruments,and I have varied the accompaniment giving the bass to bassoon, horn and clarinet. The expression marks are my own. Satie marks the piece "p" throughout, with some cresc. dim. My arrangement differs from many others, in that the melody is NOT given to one instrument throughout. More interesting for the players.
