The ethereal harmonies of the Prelude paint a musical picture that is hauntingly beautiful. A soaring melodic line is heard over lush, sustained harmonies which are characteristic of the impressionistic works of Debussy. In the Jubilee, the organ part dances jauntily against a driving 332rhythm that is heard in the piano part. The interplay between instruments is captivating, but requires competent performers.
