Deurne, 1968. studied wind band conducting with Jan Cober and composition with Kees Schoonenbeek at the Brabant Conservatory of Music in Tilburg. He also studied the saxophone with Jean Pennings and Hans de Jong. He has already written quite some compositions in various styles and genres, among those several works for symphonic and fanfare band. Keep it up is a festive little piece, composed for the 15th anniversary of the Foundation "Youth Music Day" at Bommelerwaard.
