This is an adaptation of Joplin's "Easy Winners" and recounts the tale of a young woman whisked out of a "house " in New Orleans by a rich admirer, taken to New York where she has great success, but still longs for the life down home. The singers here are divided into two SATB groups. The tempo is moderate and it is not difficult to sing.
