An intergenerational work that is true to the biblical story, Elijah tells of the prophet's conflict with King Ahab and his pagan queen, Jezebel. The important message of trusting in the one, true God is emphasized with simple speaking parts for adults and children, underscored with imaginative music. The work may be performed on acoustic or electric piano and enhanced with the optional flute part. This part, and permission to reproduce it, is included in the director's edition along with numerous helpful staging directions and narration-only pages that may be duplicated.
