AP.81-CB28136S. ISBN 1554732743. La Forza Scura is a follow-up to an overture I wrote a number of years ago entitled Black Tower Overture. Those familiar with that work will at once notice the similarities. La Forza Scura however, was designed to be accessible to less experienced bands while still retaining the sinister undertone of its big brother. Once again the sounds portraying rugged landscapes and fierce battles are found in the Allegro portions of the piece while the sounds of despair and yet glimmers of hope are found in the Andante. In any event, it is a "FORCE" to be reckoned with.

La Forza Scura és un seguiment a una obertura que vaig escriure fa uns quants anys enrere titulat Torre Negre Overture. Els que estan familiaritzats amb el treball que alhora notar les similituds. La Forza Scura però, va ser dissenyat per a ser accessible als menys experimentats bandes alhora que conserva el to sinistre del seu germà gran. Un cop més els sons que retraten paisatges agrestes i ferotges batalles es troben en les parts d'Allegro de la peça mentre que els sons de desesperació i encara espurnes d'esperança es troben al Andante. En qualsevol cas, es tracta d'una "força" a tenir en compte.
